Lucy Salwen


Staff

Lucy Salwen works as a project manager / research associate on the EMLab’s Tidelands project (Natural Infrastructure Innovation Project) in partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Engineering With Nature (EWN) Program. This five-year research collaboration focuses on designing and assessing new forms of coastal infrastructure for the Gulf and Atlantic coasts. Lucy is a recent graduate of the MLA program at the University of Pennsylvania, where she enjoyed working on large-scale coastal resilience research as well as collaborating with West Philly communities on small-scale built projects. Before graduate school, Lucy worked in communications and advocacy for a park non-profit and received her bachelors in Mathematics and Studio Art from Wesleyan University.
